Health and Social Care is a pathway that combines elements of sociology, science, law and ethics.    This pathway has been developed similar to BTEC Health and Social Care courses, and will enable you to explore subjects central not only to the Health and Care profession and in interactions with others.

Throughout the year, you will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge on academic subjects whilst also being expected to be self-critical in your own practices.  This course will develop your critical thinking skills and will expect you to apply your newly gained knowledge in a variety of contexts.  Although much of the course content is demanding, it is a subject that will prove to be insighftul and enjoyable.
